Role Overview Pinchin is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in remediation and contaminated media management to lead complex environmental projects across Ontario and nationally.

This role focuses on planning, execution, and delivery of remediation programs, requiring effective coordination with contractors, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve practical, compliant, and defensible outcomes. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and project management oversight for contaminated sites and remediation projects. Responsibilities include leading site investigations, interpreting environmental data, evaluating and selecting remediation technologies, overseeing system implementation and operation, and reviewing technical documentation to ensure quality and consistency.

You will also mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement of technical standards and delivery processes across the team. Your Impact Lead remediation projects from planning through implementation, including excavation, in‑situ and ex‑situ treatment programs, and soil vapour mitigation systems Manage contractor procurement and oversight, as well as project budgets, schedules, proposals, and invoicing Support the development of, and oversee execution of, remediation work plans, tender packages, and technical specifications Provide technical oversight for contaminated site management, including soil, groundwater, and soil vapour/indoor air pathways Support remediation programs in meeting regulatory requirements, including O. Reg. 153/04 Serve as the primary client interface, providing strategic advice on remediation and contaminant management approaches Mentor junior and intermediate staff and contribute to the technical development of the team Support business development through proposal preparation, client engagement, and strategic pursuits Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (preferred), or a related scientific discipline Professional designation in Ontario (P.Eng or equivalent) – required 5+ years of direct project management experience, including remediation technology evaluation, remediation scope development, preparation of technical specifications, and remediation cost estimating Broad exposure to a range of remediation technologies, with hands‑on experience in the design, implementation, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of remediation systems Ability to research emerging remediation technologies and assess feasibility and cost‑effectiveness compared to conventional methods Experience with project‑related financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and cost control Compensation Pay ranges are listed as required by law.
