Position: Payroll Manager Location: Noida, India Work Mode: Work from Office Shift Timing: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 6+ Years preferred Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to manage end-to-end payroll processing through HRMS for a workforce of 500+ employees. The role requires strong payroll knowledge, HRMS handling experience, statutory understanding, accuracy in payroll inputs, and the ability to ensure timely and compliant payroll execution. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience running payroll independently or managing payroll operations for a mid to large-size workforce.

Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 500+ employees through HRMS. Validate attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, reimbursements, arrears, and salary revision inputs. Ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing.

Coordinate with HR operations, finance, compliance, and management teams for payroll inputs and approvals. Review salary structures, CTC breakup, earnings, deductions, and payroll calculations. Ensure statutory deductions and compliance inputs related to PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, gratuity, bonus, and other applicable components.

Manage payroll-related employee queries and resolve issues professionally. Generate payroll reports, salary registers, variance reports, bank upload files, and statutory reports. Maintain payroll records, employee compensation data, and payroll documentation.

Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of salary and employee data. Support payroll audits, internal reviews, and compliance checks. Coordinate with HRMS vendors or internal system teams for payroll system updates, corrections, and process improvements.

Track payroll timelines and ensure zero-delay payroll closure. Identify payroll process gaps and recommend improvements. Required Skills: Strong experience in payroll processing for at least 500 employees.

Hands-on experience working with HRMS or payroll software. Good knowledge of Indian payroll components, salary structures, statutory deductions, and compliance requirements. Strong understanding of attendance, leave, overtime, arrears, deductions, reimbursements, and full and final settlement.

Excellent MS Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data validation. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage payroll deadlines with discipline.

Strong coordination skills with HR, finance, compliance, and employees. Ability to handle confidential payroll information responsibly. Preferred Skills Experience in staffing, consulting, IT services, or large workforce organizations will be preferred.

Experience with HRMS platforms such as greytHR, Keka, Darwinbox, ZingHR, PeopleStrong, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar systems. Knowledge of payroll audits, statutory filings, salary reconciliation, and compliance reporting. Experience managing payroll for multiple locations or business units.

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA, M.Com, or payroll/compliance certification will be an added advantage. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate should be accurate, process-driven, confidential, and deadline-focused.
