Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a highly hands-on role for a technical generalist who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys shipping end-to-end products across infrastructure, backend, frontend, and AI integrations. Job Requiremen ts: Work directly with customers to understand workflows and technical challenges Design and implement end-to-end solutions spanning APIs, data pipelines, frontend applications, and AI-powered workflows Build production-ready systems quickly while maintaining reliability and scalability Develop integrations with customer environments, third-party platforms, and internal systems Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure and distributed systems Prototype rapidly, validate assumptions, and iterate based on real-world usage Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the entire stack Translate customer feedback into reusable platform capabilities Strong product instincts and customer empathy.

Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with minimal direction. Bias toward action and rapid execution. Ability to balance speed with long-term maintainability.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience 7+ years of software engineering experience Proven track record of shipping production systems at scale Experience at high-growth startups, category-defining companies, or publicly traded technology firms Technical Skills Required Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS / GCP / Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, networking, observability Backend: Python, Go, TypeScript, Java, or equivalent. Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, modern web frameworks Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, data pipelines, event-driven architectures AI/LLM: Agent workflows, RAG systems, model integrations, evaluation frameworks Nice to Have AI application deployment in production environments Enterprise integration and security experience Open-source contributions or startup founding experience Background in distributed systems or developer tooling Characteristics of Successful Candidates Technical polymath who can comfortably move between infrastructure, backend, frontend, and AI. Customer-facing and capable of earning trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
