Role Summary We are looking for a dynamic and performance-driven Inside Sales Manager (SME) to lead and manage a team of Inside Sales Executives and Product Demo Specialists for Fonada’s CPaaS and AI-powered communication solutions.
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales productivity, improve conversion ratios, mentor the inside sales team, strengthen pipeline management, and ensure achievement of business revenue targets from SME and Mid-Market customers. The ideal candidate should possess strong team leadership, sales coaching, funnel management, and consultative B2B technology sales experience. Key Responsibilities 1.
Team Leadership & Sales Management · Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Inside Sales Executives and Product Demo Specialists. · Drive daily sales activities, outbound calling efficiency, demos, follow-ups, and closures. · Monitor team productivity metrics including: o Calls made o Meetings/demo scheduled o Demo-to-closure ratio o Lead response time o Revenue achievement o Pipeline conversion · Conduct regular sales reviews, performance tracking, coaching, and training sessions. · Ensure achievement of individual and team monthly/quarterly sales targets. · Build a high-performance and target-driven inside sales culture. 2. Sales Funnel & Conversion Optimization · Improve lead qualification and sales conversion processes. · Ensure effective follow-up mechanisms and CRM discipline across the team. · Analyze sales funnel leakage points and implement corrective measures. · Collaborate with marketing teams for campaign optimization and lead quality enhancement. · Work closely with Product, Presales, and Operations teams for faster deal closures. 3. Customer Acquisition & Revenue Growth · Drive customer acquisition across SME and Mid-Market segments. · Support the team in handling key prospects, strategic accounts, and complex sales discussions. · Participate in important customer meetings, product presentations, and negotiations whenever required. · Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities across existing customer accounts. 4.
Product & Solution Selling Ensure the team effectively positions and sells Fonada solutions including: · Cloud Telephony · IVR Solutions · WhatsApp Business API · Bulk SMS · Voice Broadcasting · Contact Center Solutions · AI Voice Bots & Chatbots · Virtual Mobile Numbers (VMN) · CPaaS APIs 5. Reporting & MIS · Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline reports, and CRM dashboards. · Prepare weekly/monthly sales productivity and performance reports. · Provide management insights on market trends, customer feedback, and competition analysis. Required Skills & Competencies · Strong experience in leading inside sales teams in B2B technology/SaaS environments. · Proven ability to improve sales productivity and conversion ratios. · Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management skills. · Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. · Good understanding of SaaS/CPaaS/Cloud Communication products. · Strong analytical and sales pipeline management abilities. · Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc. · Highly target-oriented with strong ownership and execution mindset.
Educational Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field. · MBA preferred. Preferred Candidate Profile · Experience in managing inside sales or telesales teams in CPaaS, SaaS, Telecom, or IT industries. · Prior experience handling SME or Mid-Market business segments. · Strong understanding of customer engagement and cloud communication solutions. · Experience in managing outbound sales, lead nurturing, and demo teams. · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced growth-oriented organization.
