Job Description
Operations Analyst (Trade Finance) Seeking candidates with 3+ years of Trade Finance Operations experience within a financial institution. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Documentary Letters of Credit (LCs), Documentary Collections, and the end-to-end Trade Finance transaction lifecycle. Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of Trade Finance Operations experience Strong knowledge of Documentary LCs and Documentary Collections Experience with Trade Finance products, processes, and transaction management AML, ATF, sanctions screening, and Trade Finance compliance experience Risk management and regulatory compliance background Client-facing and stakeholder management experience Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of ICC rules and regulations (UCP 600, URC 522, ISP 98, URDG 758) Experience with Trade Finance risk assessment, exception handling, and process improvement Bachelor's degree in Finance, International Business, or a related field CDCS and/or CSDG certification Work Arrangement: Hybrid role based in Montreal (3 days onsite; first 3 months fully onsite for training) Long-term contract opportunity with potential for extension and/or conversion Candidates should be detail-oriented, collaborative, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a fast-paced Trade Finance operations environment.
