Job Description
Position Overview As a Sales Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth by providing technical leadership and support to the Mid-Market Sales Engineering team and their clients. You will lead technical resource orchestration for the Mid-Market segment, ensuring optimal alignment between Sales Engineers and Account Executives to maximize revenue impact and customer success. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and leadership capability to balance customer needs, internal execution, and cross-functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities Act as a key liaison between Sales Engineers and the Mid-Market Sales team, ensuring technical hurdles are addressed and sales cycles are effectively supported Collaborate with Sales to identify, qualify, and advance opportunities Monitor SE workload and burn rate to ensure balanced capacity while maintaining fast response times for Account Executives Standardize and optimize Proof of Value (PoV) processes to ensure they are outcome-driven and time-bound Partner with leadership to determine optimal staffing and scaling strategies for the Mid-Market segment Participate in high-stakes customer meetings to ensure technical requirements align with product capabilities Manage friction between fast-moving Sales priorities and thorough Engineering practices Develop and deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients Provide ongoing technical expertise and support throughout the full sales cycle Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements Assist in preparing technical proposals, documentation, and solution architecture Rebuild and maintain strong customer relationships as a trusted technical advisor Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and conferences Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field Minimum 2+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or a technical pre-sales role Strong technical background with the ability to articulate complex enterprise solutions Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities Self-motivated with a strong drive to support revenue growth and customer success Willingness to travel as required for customer and industry engagement Preferred Qualifications Experience in one or more of the following areas: Endpoint Security: Antivirus, Firewall, Adaptive Threat Protection, Mobile Device Security: Email/Web Security, IPS Data Protection: Data Loss Prevention (Endpoint and Network) Cloud Security: CASB and proxy-based security solution SecOps & Analytics: EDR, XDR, NDR, sandboxing, and threat intelligence platform Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with company match Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement Collaborative and high-performance work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
