You will work alongside senior engineers on enterprise-scale products that ship to millions of users. About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Freelancer AEM Front-End Lead Developer to architect, lead, and deliver modern, scalable, and high-performance digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites & Edge). The ideal candidate will drive front-end architecture, establish enterprise UI standards, mentor development teams, and deliver responsive, accessible, and personalized customer experiences across large-scale digital platforms.

The role requires deep expertise in AEM front-end development, HTL, ClientLibs, React/Angular, Edge Delivery Services, design systems, performance optimization, and AI-assisted development workflows. Key Responsibilities Lead front-end architecture and implementation for enterprise AEM Sites and Edge projects. Design and develop scalable AEM front-end components using HTL (Sightly), JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Angular.

Define reusable UI frameworks, component libraries, and enterprise design systems. Architect and manage AEM Client Libraries (ClientLibs), dependencies, embeds, categories, and proxy configurations. Implement Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, Edge Delivery Services, and Headless CMS architectures.

Collaborate with backend teams on Sling Models, GraphQL APIs, REST APIs, and content delivery frameworks. Drive accessibility compliance (WCAG), performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals improvements. Mentor developers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and best-practice implementation.

Work closely with UX/UI teams to translate Figma, Adobe XD, and design assets into production-ready interfaces. Troubleshoot complex issues related to ClientLibs, caching, CDN behavior, responsive rendering, and browser compatibility. Support CI/CD deployments using Adobe Cloud Manager, Git, Jenkins, and modern build tools.

Leverage Cursor IDE, GitHub Copilot, and GenAI coding assistants to improve development productivity.
