As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an Air Hygiene & Fire Damper Engineer to join our specialist delivery team. What you will do Deliver specialist air hygiene services including ventilation cleaning (TR19), fire damper testing, air quality assessments, and remedial works across a range of client sites. Carry out inspections, servicing, analytical surveys, and testing activities in line with industry standards, regulations, and company procedures. Complete accurate reports, documentation, and electronic records within agreed timescales.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work. Safely operate equipment, PPE, chemicals, and access systems, including working at height where required. Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Support operational requirements through a flexible approach to working hours, including overtime, weekend work, shift patterns, and occasional overnight stays. Who you are Minimum 2 years' experience within the Air Hygiene and Fire Damper industry, with a strong understanding of industry best practices and standards. Proven experience carrying out inspections, servicing, testing, and remedial works within commercial and/or domestic environments.
Knowledge of fire damper testing and air hygiene services, including relevant legislation, standards, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with industry guidance and standards such as BS 9999, RRFSO 2005, TR19, BESA, AHO/AHT, and NAADUK. Competent in using computers, PDAs, and Microsoft Office applications to complete reports and documentation accurately.
Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail, a strong commitment to health and safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points, flexibility to travel, and willingness to stay on site as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
