Your impact The Lead Engineer is assigned to a project as a key member of the design team, they are responsible for the proper and timely execution within discipline of the design and requisitioning in accordance with the control estimate and specific requirements of the project. They are also responsible for ensuring that the Group’s technical policies are followed, considering any special contractual requirements and manage the activity as assigned by Group Lead / Section Head/ DM such as Inter discipline coordination, Participate in the Client meeting, Preparation of meeting note, Maintaining Needs list/ Hold List / Comments Log / Assumption List, Forecast of resource requirements in accordance with budget and schedule, Client relationship management, Use of Jacobs Project Management tools and systems Here's what you'll need 12-15 Years of Experience and Degree in full time BE/Btech - Chemical/Mechanical Strong experience on design of pharmaceutical / Life Science /Biotech facility / Speciality Chemical in terms of Piping design.
Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical / Life Science /Biotech facility inter discipline requirements. Sound knowledge of engineering codes and standards Sound knowledge of ASME BPE Reasonable knowledge of flexibility requirements Skilled in PIDs review / AFD reviews MTO/BOQ Preparation Datasheets of piping items Technical Bid Evaluation Construction engineering deliverables Good experience of 3D modelling tools At Jacobs we value people.
