Junior Credit Analyst

Junior Credit Analyst InCred EM Multi-Strategy Credit Fund (IEMMSCF) is a newly launching institutional hedge fund targeting 10–12% net USD returns. THE OPPORTUNITY You will be in the room — on roadshow calls, in investor meetings, and directly involved in evaluating primary bond issuances across emerging markets. This role is designed for someone who wants to build a serious buy- side credit career and is willing to do the work to get there fast.

WHAT YOU'LL DO • Attend and actively participate in primary bond roadshows — prepare questions, engage with management • Write up concise, high-quality one-pagers on new issuances: company overview, credit thesis, risks • Determine fair value on new issues using comparable analysis, spread benchmarks and fundamental inputs • Support senior team with fundamental credit analysis across EM / Asia • Maintain and update financial models; track portfolio names on earnings and key events • Monitor market developments and flag relevant news across the coverage universe • Use AI tools intelligently to accelerate research — while developing your own independent judgment WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR • 1–3 years in credit research, fixed income, investment banking, or ratings • Genuine interest in EM / Asian credit markets — you follow this space, not just aware of it • Intellectually sharp, good writer, comfortable forming a view and defending it • Strong attention to detail; able to synthesize quickly under time pressure (roadshows move fast) • Financially literate — comfortable with credit metrics, capital structures, and bond math • CFA enrolled or qualified is a plus • AI-native: you use it regularly, understand its limitations, and don't let it think for you Location Mumbai Reporting To Portfolio Manager Focus Primary Issuances / EM Credit
