Senior Credit Analyst

InCred EM Multi-Strategy Credit Fund (IEMMSCF) is a newly launching institutional hedge fund targeting 10–12% net USD returns THE OPPORTUNITY You will be the anchor of the research function — building the credit library, designing the research process, and covering a genuinely diverse set of geographies and credit types. You will work directly with the Portfolio Manager and have real influence over how the fund invests. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Lead deep-dive credit research across EM / Asia public (both investment grade and high-yield) and private credit • Design and own the research process: templates, frameworks, coverage universe • Build and maintain detailed financial models; update on events and results • Develop a research library covering all names in the portfolio and on the radar • Cover performing private credit transactions — direct lending, special situations, asset-backed • Conduct sector-level analysis across geographies: India, Southeast Asia, Middle East, broader EM • Provide investment views with clear conviction framing; contribute to IC discussions • Intelligently integrate AI tools to enhance research speed and depth — without outsourcing judgment WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 5–9 years in credit research, credit investing, or ratings — buy-side preferred • Demonstrated experience in high-yield and/or private credit analysis • Strong financial modelling skills — able to build from scratch, not just maintain • Multi-sector experience: comfortable moving across industries and geographies • EM / Asia credit exposure is a plus; intellectual curiosity about these markets is a must • Sharp writer: able to synthesize complex credit stories into clear, actionable views • Comfortable using AI tools as a productivity layer — not as a crutch Location Mumbai Reporting To Portfolio Manager Asset Class Public & Private Credit
