Position: Travel & Expense (T&E) Manager Our client is seeking an accomplished Travel & Expense (T&E) Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead employee travel operations, enforce corporate travel policies, optimize spending, and deliver actionable reporting and analytics. The role ensures that all bookings and reimbursements comply with company guidelines, while driving cost savings and maintaining strong internal controls. Mandatory Requirement: Prior experience managing U.S. travel operations remotely from India .

Candidates must also be comfortable working in night shifts to align with U.S. business hours. Key Responsibilities Oversee all domestic and international travel bookings (flights, hotels, rental cars, transportation). Ensure travel requests are approved and compliant with company policies before booking.

Monitor travel and entertainment expenses; review claims for compliance. Establish and maintain approval workflows and internal controls. Prepare weekly/monthly reports on spend, policy exceptions, savings, and departmental analysis.

Manage corporate travel vendors and negotiate preferred rates. Track budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. Maintain complete documentation and audit trails for all travel and expense transactions.

Collaborate with HR, Finance, and department heads to ensure consistent policy application. Support audits and management reviews related to travel and expense activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in Travel & Expense Management, Finance Operations, Administration, or Shared Services. Strong knowledge of travel booking platforms, expense management systems, and MS Excel. Experience in developing reports, dashboards, and internal controls.

Excellent communication, coordination, and vendor management skills. High attention to detail with a cost‑conscious and compliance‑focused mindset. Key Success Metrics High travel policy compliance rate.

Reduction in travel costs and policy exceptions. Timely processing of travel requests and expense claims. Accuracy and timeliness of management reporting.

Audit readiness and effectiveness of internal controls.
