Remote Sap Business Analyst Finance

ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a SAP Business Analyst with a strong background in Finance or SAP FICO to support our enterprise projects. This role is critical in bridging the gap between business requirements and SAP technical teams, ensuring that financial processes are seamlessly mapped, designed, and delivered through SAP systems. The ideal candidate will bring both domain knowledge in finance and working experience in SAP FICO modules to help design solutions that align with evolving business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements across FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) areas Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications , process flows, and SAP configuration documents Support the design, testing, and deployment of SAP FICO solutions, ensuring end-to-end business alignment Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to validate integration across modules such as MM, SD, and HR Facilitate workshops, gap analysis, and blueprinting sessions with finance and controlling teams Participate in UAT , prepare test scripts, and assist in issue resolution during deployment Provide support during cutover, data migration, and post-go-live stabilization Ensure all documentation is aligned with SAP standards and project governance frameworks Stay current on SAP best practices, new features (e.G., S/4HANA ), and finance compliance standards QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong exposure to SAP FICO implementations Solid understanding of finance and controlling processes (GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Cost Center Accounting, etc.) Experience in preparing BRDs, FSDs, test scripts, and process documentation Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PS) Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA is a plus Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments is preferred WHY JOIN APPCENTRIC?
