Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer

Roles and Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL code for complex Oracle databases (19c preferred). Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning to ensure application efficiency. Monitor database application performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions.

Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Review, document, and provide feedback on technical specifications and deliverables. Refactor existing code to leverage the latest database and hardware technologies.

Provide direct support to application teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution. Follow and enforce high-quality database development standards. Lead or contribute to design discussions, prototype development, and code reviews.

Maintain supportive relationships within a team and contribute to knowledge sharing. Apply understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and best practices. Assist in capacity planning and monitor system growth to anticipate future bottlenecks.

Knowledge of GoldenGate replication and Oracle 19c new features is a plus. Required Skills and Experience Primary Skills: Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development. Secondary Skills: SQL/PLSQL performance tuning, capacity monitoring.

Minimum 4–7 years of experience in Oracle database development. 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL programming. 3+ years experience working in an Agile/Scaled Agile environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Process and detail‑oriented with a positive attitude. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment and manage deliverables. Knowledge of banking industry processes is a plus.
