Job Description

Overview Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapeutics for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). The company’s drug, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), is a once-daily oral agent approved by the FDA and European Commission to treat MASH with moderate to advanced fibrosis. The Director, Commercial Training and Development will support training and development across the commercial organization, designing and facilitating learning programs for new hires and advanced training curricula.

Position Responsibilities Develop new curricula and training materials to support the strategic needs of the commercial organization. Design, develop, and deliver strategic training for endocrinology field-based teams. Develop and facilitate training for key commercial priorities and launch activities of existing products and pipeline.

Lead the development and execution of applicable systems training. Support onboarding and new hire training programs for commercial field‑based teams. Partner with cross‑functional commercial teams to identify training needs and recommend impactful solutions.

Collaborate across functions to identify training opportunities and recommend impactful solutions. Plan, organize, and execute training for large‑scale meetings and events. Update training content and materials based on periodic review and evolving business needs.

Ensure successful submission of training materials through the Promotional Review Committee process. Perform additional responsibilities as needed. Support complex project workstreams and partner with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree required. 12+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry experience. 4+ years’ experience in a home office or corporate training role. 2+ years’ experience in Endocrinology specialty preferred. Prior experience building and executing launch training required. Strong presentation and facilitation skills required.

Prior experience building and designing training highly required. Experience training multiple commercial functions preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience with Veeva Vault and promotional review committees required. Ability to lead and organize complex training projects.

A valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed, including overnights and/or weekends. Overnight travel up to 30% is expected. Frequent travel between meeting sites requiring the ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Frequent use of a computer, telephone, printer or other office equipment. Position requires 3 days per week in‑office. Benefits and Compensation Base salary range: $207,000–$253,000 per year.
