Job Description
The Assistant Manager / Manager โ SEO, AI Search & Organic Growth will drive strategic organic growth initiatives across client accounts by combining strong SEO expertise with modern AI-enabled search practices. The role involves developing and executing integrated SEO strategies, leveraging AI tools and automation, mentoring team members, and managing client relationships. Key Responsibilities SEO Strategy & Organic Growth SEO Strategy & Organic Growth Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with business, traffic, lead generation, and revenue goals.
Build integrated approaches across SEO, AEO, GEO, and AI-driven search. Identify opportunities across informational, commercial, transactional, branded, local, and conversational search intent. Create keyword, entity, and topical authority frameworks to improve search visibility.
Monitor AI Overviews, zero-click searches, conversational search trends, and evolving SERP features. Technical SEO & Website Performance Lead technical SEO audits and prioritize recommendations based on impact and effort. Manage crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, schema, canonicalization, and sitemap health.
Partner with development teams to resolve technical issues. Improve Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, and overall website performance. Ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into launches, migrations, redesigns, and CMS workflows Content Strategy & Optimization Collaborate with content and marketing teams to develop search-driven content strategies.
Create intent-led, answer-focused content for both traditional and AI-generated search experiences. Improve content quality through search intent alignment, semantic relevance, entity coverage, and E-E-A-T principles. Identify content gaps, cannibalization, refresh opportunities, and consolidation requirements.
Guide SEO content briefs, templates, FAQs, and conversion-focused recommendations. AI, Automation & Modern Search Workflows Use AI tools and automation to improve research, reporting, content planning, and operational efficiency. Develop workflows for keyword clustering, intent analysis, competitor benchmarking, and performance reporting.
Apply prompt engineering and AI-assisted methodologies responsibly. Stay updated on AI search trends, answer engines, GEO, AEO, and entity-based optimization. Off-Page SEO & Authority Building Develop strategies to improve authority, trust, and search visibility.
Oversee backlink audits, competitor analysis, and quality-first link acquisition. Align digital PR, citations, and brand mentions with broader SEO objectives. Analytics, Reporting & Insight Generation Analyze performance using Google Analytics 4, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio.
Investigate ranking, traffic, indexing, and conversion changes. Build actionable reports focused on business impact. Use AI-assisted analysis for trend identification and opportunity discovery.
Present data-driven recommendations to clients and stakeholders. Leadership, Collaboration & Client Management Mentor SEO analysts and executives through training, feedback, and quality reviews. Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining delivery quality.
Collaborate with content, development, analytics, UX, paid media, and account teams. Act as a strategic advisor on SEO and AI-search initiatives. Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Candidate Profile Experience 4โ8 years of experience in SEO, organic growth, or search marketing. Strong knowledge of technical, on-page, content, and off-page SEO. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong coaching, collaboration, ownership, and attention to detail. Agency, consulting, or multi-client experience preferred.
Prior team leadership or mentoring experience preferred. Hands-on experience using AI tools for SEO research, reporting, and content planning preferred. Tools & Platforms Preferred proficiency in one or more of the following: Google Analytics 4 Google Search Console SEMrush Ahrefs Screaming Frog Looker Studio ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude or similar AI platforms Content optimization and workflow automation tools
