Job Description
Job Purpose: Lead and manage the accounting and finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, treasury management, and timely closure of books. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, audits, taxation, payroll, cash flow management, and stakeholder coordination while driving process excellence and financial governance. Who You Are: 9+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, and Financial Operations with team management responsibilities Strong expertise in General Ledger accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting Hands-on experience in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures Strong knowledge of Indian taxation including GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements Experience managing Tax Audits, Statutory Audits, Transfer Pricing Audits, and Annual Financial Statements Expertise in cash flow management, treasury operations, and investment planning Strong understanding of payroll processing and related statutory compliances Experience with intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and consolidation of books of accounts Knowledge of STPI compliances and foreign currency transactions, including coordination with banks for FC, BRC, and related requirements Proficiency in accounting ERP systems and MIS reporting Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills What Will Excite Us: Experience leading accounting teams and managing end-to-end finance operations Ability to drive timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial closures Strong expertise in GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance management Experience in treasury management, cash forecasting, and working capital optimization Proven track record of managing audits and regulatory reporting independently Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve reconciliation and compliance issues Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and external stakeholders Ability to establish financial controls and improve accounting processes What Will Excite You: Opportunity to lead and strengthen the organization's accounting and finance function Exposure to complex financial reporting, treasury management, and compliance activities Ownership of audits, taxation, and strategic financial operations Opportunity to collaborate with leadership, auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities A dynamic environment that encourages process improvements and operational excellence Leadership role with opportunities to mentor and develop finance team members Location: Ahmedabad (Work from Office)
