Principal Statistician

Lead Biostatistician | FSP | UK/EU (Remote with occasional travel to office) We're partnering with an innovative biotechnology organisation to recruit an experienced Lead Biostatistician to play a key role in the design, analysis, and strategic delivery of clinical development programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior biostatistics professional to contribute to the development of novel therapies within a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment. Key Responsibilities Provide statistical leadership for one or more clinical trials and development programmes.

Contribute to study design, protocol development, statistical analysis plans, and interpretation of results. Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality statistical outputs. Support regulatory submissions and health authority interactions.

Oversee and monitor statistical activities across multiple studies. Requirements MSc or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related discipline. 8+ years' experience within biostatistics, ideally in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Strong expertise in clinical trial design, analysis, and drug development.

Experience working with biomarker data and biomarker-driven studies. Advanced programming skills in SAS and/or R. Experience developing applications and tools using R Shiny.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a high degree of autonomy. Willingness to visit the Belgian office periodically.
