Principal Project Manager

Overview Our client is a niche multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy providing design and construction of production processing plants, utilities and supporting infrastructure in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biosciences industries. They are expanding their engineering team and are looking for a Principal Project Manager to lead project management and on-site commissioning of large dairy and food projects. The role will involve working on a variety of design and build projects (new and upgrades).

It will require occasional on-site commissioning visits and travel. Responsibilities Lead large and complex projects in the dairy, food, or pharmaceutical sectors Manage project planning, design reviews, procurement, and construction management Oversee commissioning, including training and operating instruction development, and provide occasional on-site commissioning visits and travel as required Build strong client, contractor, and supplier relationships Drive high standards of health, safety, and quality across all projects Report on progress, risks, and project outcomes Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering or Science (Chemical, Process or Mechanical) and/or project management certification Proven experience at a senior level of engineering and project management, ideally in the dairy, food processing, or pharmaceutical industries Proven ability to manage complex projects from design through to commissioning Experience leading project teams Strong relationship management and communication skills Proactive, organised approach with excellent problem‑solving ability Benefits On offer is a highly competitive salary and the prospect of working within a proactive organisation and seeing industrial projects through from design to completion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
