We distribute solar panels, inverters, batteries, and BESS products to a pan-India network of distributors and installers. Role: Growth Manager Location: Mumbai Experience: 3โ5 years About the Role We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial and execution-focused Growth Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives across the business.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing programs that improve engagement and productivity across our distributor and sub-distributor network, accelerate adoption of new products and brands, increase customer retention, and identify new opportunities for revenue growth. The ideal candidate is highly number-driven, thrives in a startup environment, and enjoys building and scaling initiatives from scratch. Key Responsibilities Distributor & Sub-Distributor Growth Design and execute engagement programs for the company's distributor and sub-distributor network across India.
Develop and manage partner incentive structures, contests, recognition programs, and activation initiatives. Create and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual plans to improve distributor and sub-distributor productivity and transaction volumes. Monitor partner performance and implement interventions to drive growth.
Build strong relationships with channel partners to improve engagement and long-term retention. Product & Brand Growth Support the launch and scaling of private label products and strategic brand partnerships. Develop go-to-market initiatives to improve product adoption and market penetration.
Leverage the distributor and sub-distributor network to accelerate product growth. Work closely with sales teams to ensure effective execution of growth initiatives. Customer Retention & Repeat Business Develop initiatives to improve repeat purchase behavior among existing customers.
Design campaigns aimed at increasing customer engagement and transaction frequency. Analyze buying patterns and identify opportunities to improve customer retention. Inventory Monetization Create programs to improve realization of slow-moving inventory.
Identify commercial opportunities and projects that help unlock inventory value. Collaborate with internal teams to execute inventory-related initiatives. Campaign & Marketing Execution Execute WhatsApp-led campaigns and other direct communication initiatives targeted at distributors, sub-distributors, and customers.
Support digital and offline initiatives focused on driving transactions. Monitor campaign effectiveness and optimize programs based on performance data. Strategic Growth Initiatives Identify and execute new growth opportunities that generate incremental revenue.
Lead cross-functional projects requiring coordination across teams. Take ownership of special initiatives assigned by leadership. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Growth in transactions generated through distributors and sub-distributors.
Distributor and sub-distributor activation and engagement levels. Revenue contribution from private label initiatives. Revenue contribution from newly launched brands and products.
Improvement in customer repeat purchase rates. Value generated through inventory monetization initiatives. Achievement of partner transaction targets.
ROI generated from growth initiatives and campaigns. Candidate Profile Experience 3โ5 years of experience in Growth, Channel Marketing, Trade Marketing, Business Development, GTM, Category Growth, or Strategic Initiatives roles. Prior experience working with distributors, dealers, sub-distributors, franchisees, or reseller networks is preferred.
Experience in startup or high-growth environments will be an added advantage. Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of channel engagement and partner marketing. Experience designing and executing incentive programs.
Hands-on understanding of WhatsApp campaigns and direct communication initiatives. Good understanding of digital marketing fundamentals. Strong analytical skills with comfort working with targets, business metrics, and performance data.
Excellent project management and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Behavioral Attributes Highly motivated and execution-focused.
