Job Description

Account Manager Work Type: Full-Time; Work Mode: Hybrid Tru Inc is seeking Account Managers. We have three (3) permanent positions available for an immediate start. This position reports to the Account Director with a dotted line to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Position Overview This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a solution‑oriented mindset. Location This role is hybrid, providing some flexibility to work from home. However, candidates must reside in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and be prepared to attend in‑person meetings as required.

Occasional travel to client sites or workshops may also be necessary. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all account‑related matters. Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business goals and objectives to identify opportunities for growth and additional services.

Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions that meet client needs. Manage account budgets, contracts, and invoicing, ensuring financial targets are met. Monitor and report on account performance metrics and client satisfaction.

Address client concerns promptly and effectively, escalating issues as necessary. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to provide valuable insights to clients. Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on digital transformation, AI adoption, marketing technology, and customer acquisition initiatives.

Lead client discussions around SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), paid media, conversion optimization, analytics, and customer experience improvements. Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve campaign performance, operational efficiency, and business outcomes. Collaborate with specialists across SEO, paid media, analytics, development, creative, and CRM teams to develop integrated growth strategies.

Translate complex technical and marketing concepts into clear business recommendations for stakeholders and executive teams. Monitor campaign performance, attribution data, and business KPIs to identify growth opportunities and optimization recommendations. Facilitate quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and strategic planning sessions with clients.

Maintain a strong understanding of evolving search behaviors, including AI‑powered search experiences, answer engines, and generative search platforms. Qualifications Proven experience in account management, client relations, or a similar role within the technology, digital, or e‑commerce sector. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and internal teams.

Hands‑on understanding of digital marketing channels including paid media, paid social, AEO/SEO and CRO. Demonstrated experience leading multi‑channel programs with cross‑functional delivery teams. Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

A results‑driven mindset, with a focus on delivering value and exceeding client expectations. Proficiency in CRM software and other account management tools. A solid understanding of digital platforms, e‑commerce solutions, and the technology landscape.
