Workshop Engineer

Workshop Engineer Contract: Permanent Location: Lisburn The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Due to growth in our Engineering team, we are now looking for a Workshop Engineer to join our supportive and friendly team in Lisburn. We are keen to see CV’s from candidates who have experience within one of the following sectors: forklift trucks, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, HGV's, passenger carrying vehicles or similar machinery.

In this role you will be: Servicingand maintainingof diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment Fault finding, completingplanned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucks Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment Completing job activity electronically and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered Ensuring customer relationship are maintained and developed through high standards of service What will help you to excel in this role: NVQ Level 3 or relevant technical qualification Previous experience within a similar role Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals The ability to work independently and under pressure The ability to manage and prioritise workload Understanding customer needs What you can expect from us: Competitive base salary from £30,036to £34,157.DOE.
