Job Summary At PwC, our Workforce Transformation team delivers consulting services across human resources functions, talent management, and organizational development. The Workforce Transformation Manager leads end‑to‑end HR and payroll transformation initiatives that align with clients’ overall strategy and enhance employee experience and organizational performance. Responsibilities Partner with PwC professionals on high‑profile client engagements.
Lead a variety of HR engagements, including HR Strategy, Payroll Strategy & Transformation, Organization Design, Function Effectiveness & Design, HR Technology Roadmap and Implementation (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dayforce, and other payroll technologies), Workforce Planning, People Analytics & Insights, Job Architecture, Skills Management, Integrated Talent Management, and AI in HR. Leverage future‑of‑work trends, talent intelligence, skills‑based architecture, skills marketplace, and labor data analysis to drive the transition to a Skills‑Based Organization. Apply hands‑on experience with the shift to skills‑based organization.
Use deep knowledge of payroll technology, processes and operating models to improve payroll efficiency and effectiveness. Drive the creation of innovative products, accelerators, and methodologies that define the future of HR and payroll in the Agentic AI era. Manage engagement economics, oversee and deliver high‑quality work, and ensure delivery excellence.
Lead business development activities to identify opportunities with new and existing clients in collaboration with account leads. Keep up to date on talent and skills landscape trends, share insights, and contribute to thought leadership. Coach colleagues, acknowledge their strengths, and encourage ownership of personal development.
Facilitate and lead innovative client workshops and lead client teams. Contribute to the development of your own and the team’s technical acumen locally, nationally, and globally as part of PwC’s network. Qualifications Minimum five (5) years of experience delivering HR and payroll transformation services in multiple industries, with proven contributions to HR function transformation in consulting or in‑house roles.
Proven expertise in spearheading initiatives related to talent intelligence, skills‑based architecture, skills marketplaces, and labor data analysis. Demonstrated experience in one or more workforce transformation areas such as payroll process design, payroll processing, payroll technology implementation, and payroll operating model design and implementation. Experience leading skills‑based organization initiatives, including job architecture, talent intelligence, skills‑based architecture, and skills marketplace.
HR/Payroll analytics and reporting experience. Exposure to cloud‑based HR and payroll technology implementations (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Dayforce, ADP, and other payroll technologies). Experience applying generative AI and emerging AI‑enabled HR/people solutions to organizational challenges.
Strong track record of leading and managing teams to achieve sustained results while mentoring and developing future leaders. Experience preparing proposals and related presentations to support sales efforts. Strong client relationships driven by service excellence.
Creative approach to solving client challenges and eagerness to learn and understand processes. Ability to multi‑task and manage ambiguity in fast‑paced environments. Excellent communication and storytelling skills capable of simplifying complex concepts.
Prior consulting experience is highly recommended. Have already obtained or have the ability to obtain a federal government security clearance. Compensation Salary range: $112,400 – $162,400.
Variable incentive pay programs may also be available. Base salary is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, and location. #J-18808-Ljbffr
