This is a permanent, full-time position offering a rewarding opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients in need of acute rehabilitation.
As the RN Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for staff. Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily operations of the Acute Rehab Unit, ensuring that all policies, procedures, and standards of care are adhered to.
- Coordinating and directing patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing and evaluating patient care delivery.
- Supervising, mentoring, and evaluating nursing staff, promoting continuous learning, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Ensuring the Acute Rehab Unit is in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Participating in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Addressing and resolving any patient concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Participating in staff scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operation of the unit.
- Providing clinical leadership in emergencies and acting as a role model for nursing staff.
- Must possess a current and valid RN license.
- Proven experience in a supervisory, charge nurse, or leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Exceptional clinical skills with the ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a diverse team.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to effectively manage resources and budgets.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- BLS required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
