The Role We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team as our first dedicated web developer. You will start by working on live client projects immediately, with a clear growth path into headless web development as the agency scales.

This role starts as work from home and will transition to our Mumbai office as the team grows. We want someone who is self-driven, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of their work end to end. What You’ll Work OnImmediate Projects • Fix and optimize an existing real estate brokerage website • Resolve performance issues, broken navigation, plugin conflicts, and mobile responsiveness across Blocksy theme and Elementor • Improve PageSpeed/Core Web Vitals scores significantly Ongoing Client Work • Build and redesign websites for our growing portfolio of clients across real estate, luxury, and local business sectors • Integrate IDX/MLS property search tools for real estate clients (Showcase IDX, IDX Broker) • Build SEO-optimized neighborhood and location landing pages • Manage plugin updates, backups, and site health across multiple client websites • Implement technical SEO best practices alongside our SEO team Future Growth — Headless Development • As the agency grows, transition select client projects to headless architecture using Next.js and Vercel • Build and maintain headless WordPress setups with WPGraphQL or REST API feeding Next.js frontends • Collaborate on IDX Broker API integrations for headless real estate websites • Help define and document our agency’s headless development standards Must-Have Skills • 2+ years of WordPress development experience • Strong proficiency with Elementor or similar page builders • Experience with performance optimization — PageSpeed, Core Web Vitals, caching, image compression • Comfortable with custom CSS and basic PHP • Experience resolving plugin conflicts and theme issues • Mobile-first development mindset • Familiarity with SEO best practices — meta tags, schema, sitemaps • Strong communication skills — able to explain technical issues in plain language • Self-driven and able to work independently from home Nice to Have • Experience with Blocksy theme • Knowledge of real estate websites and IDX plugin integration • Basic Next.js or React knowledge — or eagerness to learn • Familiarity with Vercel and headless CMS architecture • Experience with WPGraphQL or WordPress REST API • Knowledge of Rank Math or Yoast SEO • Experience with WPvivid or similar backup solutions • Prior agency experience managing multiple client websites Work Arrangement This role begins as a work from home position.

As OrganicReachSEO grows its Mumbai operations, this will transition to a full-time in-office role. We will give advance notice before this transition and will work with you to make it smooth. We are building something from the ground up and want people who want to grow with us.

Performance will be recognized — every project you deliver above and beyond earns additional project-based incentives on top of your fixed salary. As this position will eventually be work from office, candidates based out of Mumbai need not apply.
