Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to perform welding, fitting, cutting, and related fabrication work in a metal fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading drawings and weld specifications, setting up jobs, and producing quality welds with limited supervision.

Requirements of the Welder

• 3+ years of general welding experience
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read weld specifications, shop drawings, layouts, and blueprints
• Ability to set up and position weldments using fixtures and jigs
• Knowledge of structural metals and welding materials
• Ability to use basic measuring tools, gauges, and templates
• Experience with welding equipment, grinding, cutting, and surface preparation

Responsibilities of the Welder

• Review job orders and welding specifications
• Set up, fit, and position weldments for production
• Perform MIG/TIG welding, cutting, grinding, and surface preparation
• Inspect welds for proper quality and bonding
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area
• Follow company quality, ISO, and safety standards
• Complete work accurately while meeting production requirements

2nd shift: 1:30PM - 12:00AM Monday through Thursday

Pay is $30.00 - $34.00 hourly, based on experience
