The Web Developer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing online storefronts across various regions, ensuring optimal site performance, and integrating new features. The role involves close collaboration with marketing teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing best practices for e-commerce experiences. Core Focus Areas Website Management Publish and manage website features across all storefronts, maintaining site infrastructure and ensuring a consistent, high‑quality shopping experience in each market.
Prioritize and troubleshoot bugs that impact customer shopping and checkout experiences. Build and maintain custom Shopify apps to support business requirements across the storefront ecosystem. Conversion Rate Optimization Develop and launch A/B tests for conversion rate optimization based on marketing department strategies.
Conduct QA testing to ensure new features are error‑free before deployment. Stay updated on industry best practices and recent technologies for e‑commerce platforms. Implement current features efficiently to maximize return on investment.
Integration Assistance Collaborate with team members on integrating third‑party tools and platforms, ensuring technical compatibility and functionality. Responsive Design Optimization Optimize website responsiveness for various devices, focusing on mobile‑first design principles. Advocate for user experience enhancements based on device usage data.
Ongoing Work & Impact Lead the development and maintenance of critical website features like product customization for an enhanced onsite experience. Collaborate on market expansion strategies by launching new stores and optimizing existing ones. Prior experience at a DTC (Direct‑to‑Consumer) company, preferably in a web development role.
Demonstrated proficiency in integrating and troubleshooting third‑party tools and platforms within an e‑commerce environment. Familiarity with marketing tech stack integration and analytics tools for data‑driven decision‑making and optimization. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field is nice to have but not a requirement.
Tools & Technical Environment Experience with Shopify (Admin platform) and Shopify Liquid for e‑commerce site management. Git/Github for version control and cooperative development. Quality Assurance (QA) skills to ensure error‑free deployment of new features. #J-18808-Ljbffr
