Web Developer, Senior As an experienced web developer deploying to Department of War environments, you know reliable, secure, and user-friendly web applications are critical to supporting mission operations. At Booz Allen, you can use your technical expertise to help develop and maintain enterprise web solutions that enable mission success. We need your skills in web development, application administration, and database integration to help deliver effective, compliant, and scalable solutions for our defense clients.
As a senior web developer on our engineering team, you’ll support the development, maintenance, and administration of enterprise web applications, ensuring performance, usability, and security across platforms. Your experience in ColdFusion development, database management, and working within DoW environments is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client‑focused solution. In this role, you’ll contribute to critical solutions by maintaining and improving web applications that support operational needs.
You’ll collaborate with developers, system administrators, cybersecurity professionals, and client stakeholders to help deliver world‑class solutions to design and maintain web applications, support database integration and application logic, ensure Section 508‑compliant UI/UX, monitor site performance and analytics, and provide Tier 2 support. Your technical expertise will help Department of Defense clients maintain secure, reliable, and effective web‑based capabilities. You Have 10+ years of experience with web development and administration supporting enterprise applications within DoW or federal environments 5+ years of experience in web application development, maintenance, and federal security best practices in alignment with DISA STIGs 3+ years of experience operating within secured environments Knowledge of ColdFusion, such as Adobe ColdFusion 2018 Ability to support full lifecycle web operations including UI/UX development with Section 508 compliance, database integration, application logic, site analytics, content management, and Tier 2 helpdesk support Ability to apply DoD cybersecurity and network policies Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Compensation Salary range: $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
