Inclusion Instructor - YMCA of the North Shore Part-Time Making a Difference Through Inclusive Programming This position may support multiple YMCA locations across the North Shore. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Inclusion Instructor to support participants of all ages and abilities in a welcoming, supportive environment. Under the direction of the Program Director, you will play a key role in delivering adaptive lessons, ensuring safety, and fostering positive relationships with participants and families.

This role may require travel between locations depending on program needs. What You'll Do: Instruction & Adaptation Lead program lessons for children and adults across varying levels and abilities using provided lesson plans. Modify and adapt instruction using positive behavior guidance and appropriate adaptive equipment.

Individual Activity Planning Conduct parent intake meetings to develop Individual Activity Plans that support participant success. Communicate plans with internal staff and provide tools or training as needed. Participant Evaluation & Progress Evaluate participant abilities and offer age-appropriate feedback.

Implement progressive skill-building drills to support long-term growth. Maintain accurate attendance, progress notes, and skill records. Safety & Program Area Maintenance Promote a safe environment by following YMCA policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.

Ensure program spaces remain clean, organized, and well maintained; report equipment issues promptly. Communication & Relationship Building Build positive, trusting relationships with participants, families, and staff. Provide program information and refer questions to the Program Director as needed.
