- The candidate must be capable of loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
- The candidate must ship orders.
- The candidate must weigh materials and goods.
- The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
- The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
- The candidate must organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelorβs degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be collaborative.
- The candidate must have a positive attitude.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate must be flexible.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
- The candidate should work in the warehouse can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
- The candidate should work in a retail setting, buying goods from a manufacturer or wholesaler and selling them to customers in small quantities.
