We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Poland. Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assigned areas in the warehouse, ensuring smooth business operations, and managing a team of operators. This role involves real-time monitoring, problem-solving, cross-departmental coordination, and continuous improvement in both efficiency and safety.
Management Scope
Oversee operations with at least 3 team leaders.
Job Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations Management:
- Fully responsible for the daily management and operations in the assigned areas based on specific KPIs: Safety, Productivity, Quality, Cost.
- Real-time monitoring of all processes, promptly reporting and resolving on-site problems and equipment issues to ensure business runs smoothly.
- Process Improvement:
- Implement and enhance warehouse operational processes and regulations to maintain high quality and efficiency standards.
- Resource Allocation:
- Allocate manpower and other resources based on business needs, optimizing operational efficiency and reducing costs.
- Cross-Department Communication:
- Responsible for communication and coordination across departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
- Implement 6S practices and lean improvement initiatives, continuously optimizing operational processes.
- Team Building:
- Responsible for team development, systematically cultivating and empowering team members.
- Team Culture:
- Foster a positive and healthy team culture to enhance team cohesion and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse operations experience, including at least 1 year of management experience.
- Experience managing medium to large-scale warehouses (600+ operators).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in warehouse operation processes, lean tools (6S, Kaizen, DMAIC), and cost management.
- Ability to predict and manage risks, improve safety mechanisms, and implement cost reduction strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and performance improvement.
- Ability to work alternate day and night shifts as required.
- Software Proficiency:
- Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office software.
- Familiar with WMS/TMS systems.
- Lean Management:
- Proficiency in 6S, Kaizen, or other lean tools to independently manage lean improvement projects within the warehouse.
- Cost Management:
- Identify and implement cost optimization strategies.
- Team Development:
- Effective at motivating and managing team performance for continuous improvement.
