Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, to lead our warehouse operations and support a high-performing team. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities, including inventory management, order fulfilment, receiving, dispatch, forklift operations, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a hands‑on leadership style, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and accuracy within a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

This role will be full time based at Pemulwuy, NSW.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Team Leadership

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure productivity and efficiency targets are achieved.
  • Lead, motivate and support warehouse staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
  • Allocate tasks and monitor workflow to ensure operational priorities are met.
  • Provide training, coaching and onboarding support for new and existing team members.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and communicate operational updates effectively.
  • Assist with workforce planning and resource allocation to meet business demands.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to deliver on key Warehouse KPIs.

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Oversee the receiving, storage and movement of stock within the warehouse.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, cycle counts and audits.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damages and inventory issues.
  • Monitor stock rotation and storage practices to maintain product quality and compliance.
  • Work closely with procurement and sales teams to ensure inventory availability and accuracy.

Order Fulfilment & Dispatch

  • Oversee the accurate picking, packing and dispatch of customer orders.
  • Ensure orders are processed and dispatched within required timeframes.
  • Monitor workflow to maximise efficiency while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
  • Coordinate loading schedules for local deliveries and freight providers.
  • Ensure all dispatch documentation is completed accurately.

Warehouse Operations & Equipment

  • Operate counterbalance and high reach forklifts as required.
  • Oversee the safe loading and unloading of vehicles and shipping containers.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and operated safely.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, processes and operational efficiency.
  • Support warehouse activities during peak periods and assist with hands‑on operational tasks when required.

Safety, Compliance & Quality

  • Promote and enforce workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular warehouse safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, storage and handling requirements.
  • Investigate and report workplace incidents, hazards and near misses.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.

Documentation & Systems

  • Maintain accurate inventory, receiving, dispatch and stock movement records.
  • Ensure warehouse management systems and operational documentation are updated accurately.
  • Prepare inventory and operational reports as required.
  • Monitor key warehouse performance metrics and provide feedback to management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or Senior Warehouse role.
  • Current Forklift Licence (LF) is required.
  • Demonstrated experience operating both counterbalance and high reach forklifts.
  • Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence is preferred.
  • Experience within FMCG, food distribution, wholesale or logistics environments is highly regarded.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven ability to coordinate teams and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and best practices.
  • Understanding of food safety and product handling requirements is advantageous.
  • Strong problem‑solving, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks and support warehouse operations when required.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse and chilled storage environments.
  • A positive, proactive and hands‑on approach to leadership.
