Warehouse Supervisor

J&S Automotive is a well-established, market-leading distributor of automotive products based in Park West, Dublin 12, with additional depots in Cork and Tyrone.

Joining the J&S means carrying out projects of a rapidly developing group on a daily basis, in a pragmatic and efficient manner, at the service of its customers. We are currently recruiting for a number of Warehousing roles across the business due to business expansion with multiple shift patterns available.

Our busy automotive warehouse is looking for a WarehouseSupervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

• The ability to manage up to 20 people on a daily basis
• Focused on meeting customer expectations.
• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisor role.
• Eagerness to get the job done.
• Ability to delegate workload

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that products are selected accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
• Actively manage shift performance within established processes to achieve the best results.
• Ensure that all vehicles are loaded and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Manage and engage with warehouse lead/management team and provide guidance and coaching where required.
• Assist in motivating warehouse team and managing through performance KPI’s.
• Lead by example by coaching, motivating, and inspiring the warehouse team.
• Liaise with support staff, other shift managers, and supervisors in all departments.
• Embed and apply all operational company policies and procedures.
• Ensure health and safety policies are continuously upheld.
• Identification and implementation of operational efficiencies within each function.
• Deal with all personnel issues as per company policies and liaise with HR as required.
• Any other such duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by your manager.

Requirements:

• 2 years experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role essential
• Experience managing a large team.
• Excellent knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Fully flexible in relation to starting and finish times to meet the needs of the business.
• Experience in change management and continuous improvement.
• Exceptional communication skills with experience in building and developing teams.
• High level of motivational and interpersonal skills, maintaining strong close working relationships.
• Drivers Licence (Essential)
