Warehouse Storeperson

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Warehouse Storepersons to join our morning and afternoon shift teams. The position will be on a casual basis, working full-time hours, with potential to transition to a permanent role depending on performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organised warehouse. The Warehouse Storeperson will work closely with other team members to ensure that all products are properly stored and ready for dispatch.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming shipments
• Manage inventory and ensure that all products are properly stored
• Pick and pack orders for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies
• Communicate with other team members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Skills/Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment, and freezer
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
• Comfortable to work in freezer environment
• Must be able to work with Pork and Beef
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Must have a valid Forklift License
• 1+ years operating forklifts preferred (experience with high-reach is advantageous)
• Experience with WMS/ERP system is advantageous
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Please note: those who seek to apply for the afternoon shift (2-10pm) team, will be required to complete 4-6 weeks training with the morning shift (6am-2pm) team before you can transition to the afternoon team.
