Warehouse Stock Administrator - Coventry
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Stock Administrator to join our well-established client based in Coventry.
As a Warehouse Stock Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Administration and Stock Control function, ensuring inventory accuracy, transactional integrity, compliance with operational processes, and excellent service delivery to warehouse operations and customers.
The role is accountable for the accurate processing of warehouse transactions, maintaining inventory records, supporting stock investigations, and ensuring all administration activities are completed in a timely and professional manner.

Rates of Pay:
- Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 - £12.71 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:00 - £13.38 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a Warehouse Stock Administrator are:
- Accurately process warehouse transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Maintain inventory records and ensure transactional accuracy at all times
- Support stock accuracy and inventory integrity through effective administration processes
- Investigate stock discrepancies and provide information to support root cause analysis
- Assist with stock counts, cycle counts and audit activities as required
- Ensure all customer and operational documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Monitor and respond to operational and customer queries in a professional manner
- Support warehouse operations by providing timely and accurate administrative assistance
- Prepare and maintain operational reports and documentation
- Escalate stock, system or process issues to the Admin Team Leader or Stock Manager
- Comply with company policies, procedures and customer requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse administration and stock processes
- Maintain clear communication with operational teams and other departments
- Contribute to a safe working environment and demonstrate company values and behaviours
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Warehouse Stock Administrator, you will need:
- Previous experience within a warehouse administration, stock control, inventory or logistics environment
- Good understanding of warehouse processes and inventory control principles
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other operational systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Customer-focused approach to service
