Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator / Order Checker to support our warehouse operations. This role focuses on order accuracy, quality control, and inventory support in a fast-paced environment! Work a convenient day shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm!

Responsibilities:

Shipping

• Coordinate daily outbound shipments and ensure orders are prepared and shipped according to customer requirements
• Schedule and coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, bills of lading, labels, packing slips, and other required paperwork
• Assist in signing out drivers
• Populate/maintain appointment screen through WMS
• Manage express door
• Update tablet as required
• Complete dock checks each morning for trailers
• Complete dock checks against Bill of Ladings
• Confirm all pallets are being loaded onto trucks accurately and securely
• Track shipments and follow up on missed, delayed, or incomplete deliveries
• Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, shortages, damages, and other issues

Receiving

• Coordinate incoming deliveries and ensure receiving appointments are scheduled as required
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, receiving documentation and customer requirements
• Ensure products are counted, inspected, identified, and received accurately
• Record shortages, overages, damages, and discrepancies and communicate issues to appropriate department
• Ensure received product is properly labelled and directed to the appropriate warehouse location
• Maintain accurate receiving documentation and system records

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Operator Certification on Reach, Counter Balance, Order Picker, and Working at Heights
• 2 years of forklift experience
• Ability to operate counterbalance, reach, dock stocker, or walkie-rider
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail and basic computer/WMS skills
• Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred

Pay Rate:

• $23/hour
• Weekly pay every Friday
