Warehouse Shift Manager Take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient warehouse operation, helping achieve operational standards and meet agreed service level agreements. Responsibilities Demonstrate an active leadership style, taking full responsibility for driving an engagement culture in your area of responsibility Deal with HR processes in a timely manner, following the correct process and leveraging appropriate support when required Understand the root causes of performance results and set actions with your direct reports and Operations Manager for improving the results Act as the first point of contact for the customer regarding site operation matters and build a good relationship to develop trust and ensure strong engagement Ensure appropriate communication, understanding and compliance with all relevant DHL policies Understand health and safety related risks in your area, take actions to eliminate or minimise these risks according to an agreed plan Qualifications Coaching and active listening skills Ability to drive standards within the direct team Ability to manage change processes Minimum 4 years of warehouse management experience Operations experience managing a team Customer facing experience is an advantage Benefits Free parking and on‑site canteen Generous pension scheme Free confidential 24/7 GP consultations Hundreds of retail and lifestyle discounts Financial wellness support Successful candidates must undergo a basic Access NI check; a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
