We’re Hiring! Warehouse Operator - Townsville

We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Operator with a current forklift license and strong forklift experience to join our Townsville team in a permanent full-time role.

If you’re someone who takes pride in keeping things organised, accurate and moving, this could be the role for you. You’ll be right in the middle of our warehouse and production operations - receiving and moving materials, keeping stock accurate, supporting production and dispatch, and making sure everything is handled safely and efficiently.

What Your Day Looks Like:

  • Preparing and supplying raw materials and ingredients for production, including weighing, decanting, barcoding and moving materials to the correct areas.
  • Managing production orders and stock movements through our MES system, ensuring inventory and traceability records are accurate.
  • Receiving, checking and storing incoming materials, as well as returning materials and finished goods to the correct warehouse locations.
  • Keeping stock accurate and under control through regular stock checks, maintaining minimum stock levels, completing transfers and investigating any discrepancies.
  • Supporting dispatch operations, including pallet movements, labelling, consignment paperwork, system updates and final checks before goods leave site.
  • Working closely with Production and other teams to ensure ingredients and materials are ready when required and keeping things moving when production is running.
  • Operating and maintaining a safe, organised warehouse, including forklift checks, housekeeping, waste disposal and reporting any maintenance or operational issues.
  • Following GMP, HACCP, WHS and QA requirements to maintain high standards of safety, quality and product integrity.

  • Minimum 2 years experiencefood manufacturing, ingredients, or FMCG or warehousing.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receivals, dispatch, stock control and inventory processes.
  • Current Australian Forklift License (essential - regular daily use) and ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment with strong problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of GMP and HACCP practices
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling (lifting up to 20-25kg)
  • Reliable, proactive team player with good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office / warehouse systems)
  • Certificate II in Warehouse Operations/ Warehouse Distribution
