Location: Fishponds, Bristol (BS16)Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (40 hours per week)
Vacancy:
We are recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our fast-paced manufacturing operation in Fishponds. This is a practical, team-focused role with real responsibility for keeping materials and finished goods moving safely, accurately and on time through to the production teams.
You will be involved across the warehouse process - from receiving and storing stock to picking, packing and preparing orders ready for production staff. If you take pride in doing a job properly, enjoy staying active and work well as part of a dependable team, this could be an excellent next step.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare and complete orders for production staff or collection, including picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, loading and dispatch.
- Receive, unload, check, label and store incoming stock in the correct locations.
- Carry out routine stock checks and support cycle counts and annual stock - takes.
- Record inventory movements accurately and complete relevant warehouse logs.
- Report shortages, damaged goods and stock discrepancies promptly to your supervisor.
- Move products safely using pump trucks, tow-carts, cages, powered pallet trucks and forklifts where trained and authorized.
- Keep work areas clean, safe and organized while making effective use of warehouse space.
- Follow quality standards, site procedures and all health and safety requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
- The ability to read and follow pick lists, bills of materials and job sheets accurately.
- Good organization and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A reliable, safety-conscious approach and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team.
- The physical capability to stand and walk for much of the shift and regularly lift and move products safely.
- A current Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift license.
- Experience in the commercial vehicle, automotive, engineering or manufacturing sector.
