Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee receiving, storage, inventory, and shipping operations at our Sarasota facility. The ideal candidate has warehouse leadership experience in food and beverage, or a similarly FDA or GMP regulated environment, and is confident handling light-to-moderate facility maintenance tasks when they come up. This is a hands‑on role — you will be on the floor alongside the team, not managing from behind a desk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
  • Operate a forklift safely within the warehouse space
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software or equivalent tools
  • Maintain accurate and organized records including but not limited to inventory, equipment maintenance, ordering, SDS, routine logs, and address discrepancies quickly and efficiently
  • Keep storage areas organized, clean, and compliant with food safety and GMP expectations
  • Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams as needed
  • Handle easy‑to‑moderate facility repairs using hand tools and power tools (e.g., shelving, hardware, minor equipment fixes) and coordinate with outside contractors when necessary
  • Keep equipment maintenance logs current and coordinate forklift or pallet jack servicing
  • Coordinate inbound freight and outbound shipments, including carrier scheduling
  • Track key performance metrics such as order accuracy and inventory turnover
  • Assist with purchasing decisions for warehouse supplies and consumables

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience driving a forklift as a primary part of job functions
  • Familiarity with FDA food safety practices and/or GMP expectations
  • Comfortable and competent using hand tools and power tools for routine upkeep
  • Experience with inventory management systems and basic computer proficiency
  • Forklift operation certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Strong organizational skills and clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an active, physical environment

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of warehouse supervisory or management experience, preferably in food and beverage or a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Hourly Range: Starting at $25 - $31.50 per hour
  • Full-time at 30-40 hours per week

What We Offer

  • 8‑hour shifts daily – flexible shifts
