The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role which will include the following duties:

Warehouse Operations Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and freight.

Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and procedures.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Manage warehouse layout and design to optimize space and efficiency.

Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics.

Managing the warehouse team to ensure service levels align with United Fasteners' reputation for on-time delivery and technical excellence.

Customer Service:

Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Address customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Collaborate with sales teams to meet customer needs.

Inventory Control:

Manage timely receival of goods in a timely manner.

Ensure accurate and timely inventory records.

Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.

Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures.

Address discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Team Leadership and Development:

Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff.

Assign tasks and monitor performance.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures.

Safety and Maintenance:

Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all safety requirements.

Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.

Who we're seeking:

Proven track record in achieving operational KPIs, improving efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience motivating frontline staff.

Solid understanding of inventory management practices, stock control, and accuracy methodologies.

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), order management, and data analysis to drive decisions.

Good knowledge of WHS/safety standards and compliance frameworks.

Capability to manage equipment, facility maintenance, and capital projects.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
