Warehouse Manager

We Are Tailored is a growing Australian beverage manufacturer looking for an experienced, hands‑on Warehouse Manager to take ownership of the day‑to‑day operation of our Epping warehouse.

This is a highly hands‑on role and would suit someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor and actively involved in the operation. You'll spend a significant amount of your day operating a forklift, moving stock and working across receiving, picking, packing and dispatch, while also taking responsibility for inventory accuracy, stock control, warehouse organisation and process improvement.

As a newly created role, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of how the warehouse operates, improve existing processes and help build an efficient warehouse function that can keep pace with a growing business.

What you'll be responsible for

• Taking ownership of the day‑to‑day running and organisation of the warehouse
• Regular forklift operation and hands‑on movement of stock throughout the warehouse
• Receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and strong stock control
• Managing cycle counts and stocktakes and investigating inventory discrepancies
• Coordinating excess stock movements and transfers to our 3PL warehouse
• Managing CHEP pallet transfers and balances
• Ensuring all stock movements and transfers are accurately recorded in our systems
• Making sure orders are picked and prepared accurately and within required timeframes
• Maintaining a clean, organised, safe and efficient warehouse environment
• Coordinating and providing direction to casual warehouse support when required
• Working closely with our Supply Chain and Operations teams
• Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse layouts, workflows and processes
• Implementing practical improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy and safety

About you

We're looking for someone who knows warehouse operations inside and out and is comfortable taking ownership.

You’ll bring:

• Previous experience managing a warehouse or working in a senior warehouse role
• A current forklift licence with strong, recent practical forklift experience
• Strong experience across inventory management and stock control
• Experience with receiving, stock movements, picking, packing and dispatch
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A good understanding of warehouse WHS requirements
• Confidence using warehouse, inventory or ERP systems
• The ability to prioritise and stay organised in a fast‑paced environment
• A practical, proactive and solutions‑focused approach
• The confidence to identify when something isn't working and implement a better way of doing it

Experience with 3PL stock movements, CHEP/pallet management and manufacturing or FMCG environments would be highly regarded.
