Warehouse Manager

Overview

Our client in Essex County, NJ is looking to hire a bilingual English/Spanish Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all warehouse operations to ensure they are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
• Establish and enforce protocols for inventory control, shipping/receiving, and upkeep of the warehouse.
• Monitor and manage inventory flow and stock accuracy to maintain optimal levels.
• Build and sustain strong working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers.
• Oversee the maintenance and timely repair of all warehouse machinery and tools.
• Lead and support warehouse personnel through training, supervision, and performance evaluations.
• Uphold and implement safety standards and programs to maintain a secure work environment.
• Work cross-functionally with departments like Sales to align warehouse functions with broader business goals.
• Identify and mitigate workplace hazards, ensure regulatory compliance, and report concerns to management.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by your immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Solid understanding of warehouse systems, logistics, and facility maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in safety standards and compliance regulations relevant to warehouse operations.
