Warehouse Leading Hand

We are seeking a Warehouse Leading Hand to join our Willawong Operations team! Read on about this exciting opportunity.

We are looking for a hands-on team player who can confidentially switch between physical, floor-based work and computer-based administration.

The Opportunity

Own and lead all things receiving / inbound - be the first touch point of smooth warehouse operations

Combination of hands-on and managerial tasks and responsibilities – variety in your day

Permanent full-time work in an established and efficient Warehousing team

Play a key role in the success and development of a continuously growing company

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall warehouse workflow by continually monitoring and redistributing resources to ensure successful warehouse operations

Provide supervision of warehouse personnel and support to operational team leaders

Own the warehouse inbox, provide enquiry responses and resolutions

Met daily operational targets

About you

Ability to coordinate operations, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Sound knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practice

High attention to detail

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, PPT, Word) and excellent understanding of Transport and Warehouse management systems

Maintain standards of health and safety and security

Requirements

3+ years experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar roles

Experience in the transport or FMCG / 3PL industry (desirable)

Demonstrated ability to lead a team
