Job Overview

AF Cold Storage is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and coordinating daily dock activity, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication with clients and carriers. This role requires strong communication skills and a keen ability to problem‑solving and resolve various operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound appointments.
• Oversee daily dock activities for efficient loading and unloading.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams.
• Address inventory discrepancies, carrier delays, and logistical challenges.
• Organize repairs and maintenance for warehouse equipment.
• Manage and maintain records of shipments and receipts.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and safety.
• Work closely with warehouse staff and managers for smooth operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Adhere to health, safety, and food safety standards.
• Perform additional tasks as needed for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education.
• Previous experience in warehouse coordination or similar roles.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solving and attention to detail capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Familiarity with HACCP and CFIA regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and related software.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as required.
