POSITION TITLE VP of Sales - Lubricants COMPENSATION Competitive salary DOE + bonus BENEFITS Full benefits package LOCATION Houston, TX SUMMARY Develops business opportunities to increase revenues and profits through penetrating all levels. Maintains current accounts and cultivates new opportunities for the sale of products and services.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and refine the company’s business development strategy, monitor market trends, and identify new opportunities for growth Source, evaluate, and prioritize potential strategic opportunities, including acquisitions, divestitures and new product/service ventures Build and nurture strategic partnerships with clients, vendors and other stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor Lead efforts to assess the technical, financial and operational aspects of potential deals and develop financial models for valuation Manage the end-to-end process of deal execution, including term sheet negotiation and contract finalization Prepare proposals and necessary documentation for requesting bids, including feasibility studies for new business Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align messaging, generate leads, and achieve defined sales and margin targets Lead a high-performing business development team and external advisors to achieve business objectives EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of outside B2B sales experience Fuel or lubricant sales experience Strong understanding of industrial, manufacturing, or energy industries Self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) PLEASE NOTE: We try to respond to everyone who applies for our jobs, but in periods of high activity it may not be possible.
