VP Cloud Security

JCW Group has partnered with a major financial services firm that plays a pivotal role in the global foreign exchange market. They are seeking a VP, Cloud Security, to join their team in NJ. In this role, you will have hands‑on experience in implementing the IT Strategy and ensuring that the firm's strategy is implemented.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Security Subject Matter Expert driving detection, response, and secure architecture across AWS and Azure environments
• Hands‑on security engineering across SIEM, IDPS, DLP, Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Management, and Threat Intelligence
• Leading cloud‑native incident response using Lambda, Step Functions, and automated workflows
• Threat hunting, malware analysis, forensics, and intrusion detection in hybrid environments
• Partnering with cloud and infrastructure teams to build secure‑by‑design platforms
• Supporting regulatory compliance (NIST, ISO, SOC, GDPR) with strong audit and reporting discipline
