Voip Engineer / Telecom Engineer

Location: Dublin / Leinster – Field Based Occasional Nationwide Travel Required.

Éirconnect Communications is looking for an experienced Telecoms / VoIP Engineer to join our growing technical team.

The role will involve installing, configuring and supporting VoIP phone systems, business broadband, fibre and networking solutions for customers across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure VoIP / Hosted PBX systems
• Configure IP phones, DECT handsets, call flows and extensions
• Install and troubleshoot business broadband and fibre connections
• Configure routers, switches, LANs and VLANs
• Diagnose VoIP, SIP, networking and connectivity issues
• Complete customer site installations, upgrades and fault calls
• Provide professional on-site customer support

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Telecoms / VoIP engineering
• Strong knowledge of VoIP, SIP and IP networking
• Experience with routers, switches and business connectivity
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• Comfortable working independently on customer sites
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full driving licence – essential

Experience with Yealink, Hosted PBX, Microsoft Teams and business networking would be an advantage.
