Job Title - Video Editor & Graphic Designer
\n\nAbout the role:
\nWisemonk is scaling up its YouTube, short-form, and social content output, and we're hiring a full-time video editor who can also pick up graphic design work โ thumbnails, social creative, and other visual assets that support the content engine. This is primarily a video editing role with design as a meaningful secondary skill, not the other way around.
\n\nRole Overview:
\nYou'll work in-office in Bengaluru, closely with the Content Producer, turning raw footage into polished long-form and short-form videos on a weekly cadence, while also producing the graphics that go around that content.
\n\nWhat you'll be doing:
\n- Edit long-form YouTube videos and short-form content (Shorts/Reels) from raw footage, B-roll, and supplied material
\n- Work primarily in Descript for cutting, pacing, captions, and narrative structure
\n- Design thumbnails, social media graphics, and other supporting visual assets for published content
\n- Maintain a consistent visual style across video and graphic output
\n- Color correct and audio-mix footage to a professional, publish-ready standard
\n- Turn around edits and designs quickly against a weekly content calendar
\n- Work directly with the Content Producer to align on look, feel, and priorities day to day
\n\nWhat we're looking for:
\n- 2-3 years of experience editing video for YouTube or short-form/vertical platforms โ a portfolio of real work matters more than years on paper
\n- Working knowledge of Descript, or strong enough editing fundamentals in other tools to pick it up fast
\n- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar) โ comfortable producing clean thumbnails and social graphics
\n- An eye for pacing, hooks, and visual consistency
\n- Based in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru, able to work in-office
\n- Comfortable working with ambiguous raw material and making independent editing decisions
