Vice President of Software Engineering About the Company Industry-leading provider of digital banking solutions Industry Banking Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a VP of Engineering to provide senior technical leadership and oversee the full engineering organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and enforcing architectural standards, driving technical debt management strategies, and guiding technology stack selection. This role also involves fostering a culture of engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and agile development practices.

The VP of Engineering will be a critical interface between multiple offices, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables, and will be expected to have a strong background in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, and scalable system design. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a management role, and a proven track record of delivering software products in regulated industries. The role requires expertise in SOC2, HIPAA, and other relevant compliance frameworks, as well as hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud platform management.

The ideal candidate will have strong executive communication skills, the ability to manage technical debt and production incidents effectively, and a commitment to team leadership and organizational development. Experience in mentoring and developing engineering teams, as well as a passion for embracing AI and continuous learning, is also essential.
